Išleista CentOS 6.5 – Atnaujinkite iš CentOS 6.x į CentOS 6.5
2013 m. gruodžio 1 d. CentOS projekto komanda paskelbė apie CentOS 6.5 Enterprise Linux, skirtos i386 ir x86_64, išleidimą architektūros sistema. Šis leidimas buvo penktasis CentOS 6.x serijos naujinys, kuriame yra daug naujų funkcijų, naujų funkcijų ir daugybė klaidų pataisymų.
CentOS 6.5 yra atvirojo kodo bendruomenės valdoma Linux operacinė sistema, pagrįsta tik ankstesniu Red Hat Enterprise Linux (EL) 6.5 leidimu. . Šis naujas leidimas apima visų variantų programinės įrangos paketus, įskaitant Serverį ir Klientą.
Šiame leidime yra daug esminių funkcijų ir pakeitimų, palyginti su ankstesne CentOS versija, todėl primygtinai siūlau jums visiems perskaityti leidimo pastabas apie pakeitimus.
Kas naujo CentOS 6.5
• The Precision Time Protocol – before a technology preview – is now fully supported. Enabled support for network time stamping: bnx2x, tg3, e1000e, igb, ixgbe, and sfc;
• OpenSSL has been updated to version 1.0.1;
• OpenSSL and NSS now support TLS 1.1 and 1.2;
• A number of renovation have been implemented for KVM, which combine read-only support of VMDK- and VHDX-Files, CPU hot plugging, and updated virt-v2v-/virt-p2v-conversion tools;
• The Hyper-V and VMware drivers have been updated;
• Evolution has been updated to version 2.32 and LibreOffice to version 4.0.4;

Atnaujinimas iš CentOS 6.x į CentOS 6.5
Galite lengvai naujovinti iš bet kurios ankstesnės CentOS 6.1, 6.2, 6.3 ir 6.4 versijos į CentOS 6.5 naudodami komandą yum update iš komandos- linija. Prieš atnaujindami patikrinkite esamą versiją, jei ją naudojate.

CentOS release 6.4 (Final)Atnaujinimo procesas yra daug paprastesnis ir nesudėtingas, viskas, ką jums reikia padaryti, tai tiesiog paleisti komandą „yum update“. Tačiau prieš pradedant naujovinti siūlau visiems pasidaryti svarbių failų, duomenų bazių, konfigūracijos failų ir tt atsargines kopijas.
Tada paleiskite komandą „yum list updates“, kad pateiktumėte visų galimų naujinimų sąrašą. Atnaujinimų sąrašas suteikia geresnį supratimą apie tai, kokie paketai bus atnaujinti.
